As a tangible expression of its commitment to sustainability, MODENA introduces the Eco Series, a dedicated line of home appliances featuring eco-conscious innovations designed to promote greater energy efficiency and responsible resource use in everyday life. Beyond enabling more sustainable choices at home, every purchase from the MODENA Eco Series contributes to the planting of one mangrove tree, supporting long-term environmental conservation efforts.
“At MODENA, we believe sustainability is not a destination, but a habit built through everyday actions. We aim to deliver innovations that empower families to make a meaningful contribution through simple choices at home. The Eco Series marks an important step in making sustainability more tangible and accessible to consumers through products that create value not only for households, but also for the environment,” said Nicole Jizhar, Chief Sustainability Advisor & Executive Vice President of MODENA.
Through the Eco Series, MODENA brings together a curated range of home appliances equipped with features designed to contribute to positive environmental impact under a single product line. The initiative aims to make it easier for consumers to identify products that support more efficient energy and resource use, while delivering long-term value for both households and the environment.
As part of its commitment to World Mangrove Day, MODENA has contributed approximately 500 mangrove trees through its collaboration with CarbonEthics in the Harapan Islands, supported by proceeds from Eco Series sales.

The MODENA Eco Series encompasses a diverse range of home appliances, including induction hobs, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, and water heaters. Across these categories, MODENA integrates innovative features designed to promote more efficient use of energy and resources without compromising performance.
1. Stable Heat, Lower Energy Consumption
Energy efficiency does not have to come at the expense of performance. MODENA’s built-in induction hobs feature Precise Low Heat technology, which maintains stable and consistent temperatures even at lower power levels, enabling more efficient energy use based on individual cooking needs.
One example is the Built-in Induction Hob BI 4325 FBBK, which operates at power levels starting from 200 watts, giving consumers greater flexibility to cook efficiently while using only the energy required.
MODENA induction hob maintains stable temperatures at low power levels.
2. Inverter Technology: Greater Efficiency, Consistent Performance
A number of MODENA appliances—including washing machines, microwaves, and refrigerators—are equipped with inverter technology, which dynamically adjusts performance based on actual usage requirements. By avoiding unnecessary energy consumption, the technology enables appliances to operate more efficiently while maintaining consistent performance.
The PowerHub™ Inverter Refrigerator RF 5860 MLBG, for example, features an inverter compressor that automatically adjusts its operating speed in response to changes in the internal temperature. This enables more efficient electricity consumption, with energy savings of up to 28%.
Beyond energy efficiency, inverter technology also enhances overall appliance performance. The Microwave Convection MV 5536 CBBK features EvenFlow Inverter technology, which delivers power consistently throughout the cooking process for faster and more even heating.
3. Smarter Energy Management Through Smart Home Technology
MODENA further advances energy efficiency through its smart home ecosystem, enabling consumers to manage appliance usage according to their daily needs.
The Smart Electric Water Heater Storage ES 0151 ITLA, for instance, can be connected to the MODENA Seamless application, allowing users to adjust power consumption from as low as 200 watts and schedule water heating according to their daily routines. This enables the water heater to operate when needed, helping minimize unnecessary energy consumption.
4. Efficiency Beyond Electricity
Environmental impact extends beyond electricity consumption. Responsible resource use also encompasses water and detergent efficiency, which are integral to more sustainable household practices.
MODENA’s front-load washing machines incorporate MSense and AutoDose+ technologies, which automatically adjust water usage, detergent dosage, and washing duration based on the laundry load. This helps optimize resource consumption while maintaining effective cleaning performance.
A similar approach is applied to the Freestanding Dishwasher WP 1411 FDSS, which features a Half Load Cycle that enables more efficient washing when the dishwasher is not fully loaded—helping consumers use resources more responsibly without having to wait for a full load.
