Jakarta, November 3, 2025 – MODENA and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) have officially entered a strategic collaboration through a partnership agreement signed on October 31, 2025. This collaboration aims to introduce a new telecommunications service that will become part of Seamless, an integrated ecosystem built by MODENA to support an end-to-end smart lifestyle through the synergy of electronic devices, connectivity, and digital services.
The signing ceremony was represented by Dong Pyo Jeon, Executive Vice President Commercial of MODENA, and Muhammad Buldansyah, Director & Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. This event marked the shared commitment of both companies to strengthen digital connectivity across Indonesia.
“This collaboration stems from the shared vision between MODENA and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison to deliver solutions that merge technology and convenience in daily life. With Indosat’s extensive and reliable network, we will introduce telecommunications services that form part of the Seamless ecosystem, empowering smarter, more stable connectivity to support smart living in one connected experience,” said Michael Jizhar, Executive Vice President of MODENA.
In its initial phase, the collaboration will launch SIM card and postpaid data package services that can be purchased as a bundled offering and used seamlessly by users. These services are designed to provide a more practical and stable connectivity experience with added value, paving the way toward a more accessible smart living ecosystem for the wider community.
Moreover, users will be able to retain their existing Indosat phone numbers while enjoying the benefits of the Seamless package, without the need to change numbers.
Moving forward, the collaboration will not stop at basic services. MODENA and IOH will continue developing integrated solutions that deepen the interconnection of telecommunications services with other elements of the Seamless ecosystem, unlocking new potential for a smarter, more inclusive, and fully connected lifestyle.
“This collaboration is a tangible manifestation of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison’s role as a strategic partner in driving cross-industry digital transformation. We are pleased to support MODENA in creating connectivity that delivers smart living experiences for more Indonesians. This initiative aligns with our broader mission to empower Indonesia through technological innovation, limitless connectivity, and cross-sector collaboration that strengthens the national digital ecosystem,” said Muhammad Danny Buldansyah, Director & Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
MODENA Seamless: Building an Integrated Smart Living Ecosystem
Seamless represents MODENA’s long-term vision to create a connected smart living ecosystem where devices, connectivity, and digital services work together in one integrated experience. To realize this vision, MODENA continues to expand various business lines that serve as the foundation of the Seamless ecosystem.
As part of its commitment to building this ecosystem, MODENA has launched several initiatives to strengthen connectivity and service integration, beginning with MODENA Seamless IoT, a smart home solution that enables users to control up to 17 Internet of Things (IoT) devices centrally through the MODENA Seamless App.
This initiative was later expanded through a partnership with MNC Kapital Indonesia to develop MODENA Pay, a digital financial service that integrates with the Seamless ecosystem, providing ease of transaction within a single platform.
All of these initiatives will be further integrated through advanced connectivity, now made possible by the strategic collaboration between MODENA and IOH, serving as the main foundation in delivering seamless connectivity for MODENA customers. The ecosystem will continue to grow with new innovations and services designed to enrich user experiences.
“This initiative is part of MODENA Group’s long-term strategy to evolve beyond the home appliances business, through our 12 business pillars: Electronics, Energy, IoT, Water Solutions, Mobility, Heavy Industry, Retail Cloud, Engineering & Construction, Logistics, Medical Equipment, ICT, and Financial Services. We believe this collaboration will strengthen MODENA’s role in building an integrated ecosystem for modern living,” concluded Michael Jizhar.”
